In Step: Military Training for Extras

Not every performer in a military film or television program needs deep background in military skills. For those who do, including featured players, principal extras or background extras, Military Eras provides realistic hands-on training tailored to the subject period and the demands of the production.

We feature extensive background in all wars of the 21st, 20th, and 19th centuries, back to the Revolution. And we can assist with impressions for the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force, whether garrison and support troops, combat arms, or elite forces (Commando, Sniper, SOG, SEAL, Ranger, Special Forces.)

Our trainers are veterans who have conducted actual recruit drill in the American armed forces. In addition, they have specialized knowledge in the School of the Soldier from every era of our history. They are adept instructors, able to quickly impart such basic skills as marching, the manual of arms, combat tactics and deployment, military courtesy and much more for any period in U.S. history.
